Here are three events that are going on in Charleston this weekend:

1- 7th Annual Charleston Comedy Festival! Tonight is the one and only performance of Cabaret KiKi which started here in Charleston by Matt and Evan Bivins who relocated to Chicago about a year  and a half ago. 2- RENT! The musical RENT from Broadway premieres tonight and will run through February 14th at the Charleston Music Hall. Proceeds benefit the Roper St. Francis Ryan White Foundation and the Alliance for Full Acceptance. Click here for ticket prices and to read more.

3- Sunday January 24th is the premiere of the movie Dear John which was filmed right here in beautiful Charleston! The premiere is being held at the Terrace Hippodrome with an after party at the Aquarium. Click here to read more.

All of these events showcase the diverse cultural scene of Charleston.
