East Side Listings

Located in the heart of this neighborhood is Hampstead Park and Mall Playground. Fine Charleston Single residences were built in this neighborhood during the mid 19th century, and many are currently going under extensive renovations. The City currently has plans to revitalize the area surrounding the neighborhood near the old Cooper River Bridge with new businesses, homes, and public areas. An exciting new project, the Cigar Factory that was built in 1881, is currently being restored to luxury residences. This neighborhood is also home to Trident Technical College Palmer Campus and its Culinary Institute of Charleston.
