Hampton Park Terrace Listings
On the northwest corner of the peninsula is Hampton Park Terrace. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the neighborhood was laid out between 1911 and 1913, and by 1922 nearly 200 homes had been built. Architectural styles include Prairie, Foursquare, Colonial Revival, Craftsman, and Bungalow.
Along the northen boundary is Hampton Park. Originally the site of the Washington Race course, in 1902 it was the site of the South Carolina Inter-State and West Indian Exposition.
